Southern Shaolin: Radically Different

Click picture to view video.

Southern Shaolin is said to be a splinter movement from Northern Shaolin. As a teaser for a future series, here's a clip of two Southern Shaolin monks practicing combat drills. Unlike the 'no block' strategy highlighted in a previous Northern Shaolin clip, this Southern Shaolin art of Five Ancestors (also known as Wuzu, Wuzuquan, Ngor Chor, Ngo Cho Kun, Ng Jo Kuen) uses blocks - very hard blocks. Which method is better; dodge or block, North or South? There are probably many roads to the top of the mountain. [Note: This clip has no audio.]
